Purple and Nude Gradient Nails

I saw these on Instagram by user @natashadangelo. Hers were slightly different but hers were where I got my inspiration.

I started by placing Zoya's Odette and Cho on a makeup sponge, one on each half. I dabbed the sponge on each nail. When dry I did a second and third coat. I added a top coat of Seche Vite. With nail glue, I added a purple bow to the base of the ring fingers, and I added a diamond on the pointers from Hex Nail Jewelry.

Coral and Gray with Polka Dots

I saw this mani on Nails 2 Die For on Facebook. I changed it slightly but it's the same basic idea.

I used Essie's Sunday Funday on nails 1, 3, & 5, and Rimmel London's Gray Matter on 2 & 4. I used a fan brush and gray matter and made stripes on the pinkies. I used a dotting tool and opposite colors to make dots on the middle and ring fingers. On the pointer fingers, I used two different sized dotting tools to make dots running vertically with Sunday funday. Then using the smaller dotting tool, I made a dot with gray matter in the bigger dot. I used a plastic bow and stuck it to my thumb with clear polish. I topped it with a coat of Seche Vite.

Lacquer Legion February - Adoration

The Lacquer Legion prompt for this month was adoration, and if you know me you know I LOVE (adore) shoes! Plus the cheetah print and bows just make them extra girly and cute don't you think?!

I used Zoya's Dot on fingers 1, 4, & 5, and Essie's On A Silver Platter for 3 & 4. I glued a plastic bow on the 4th finger with nail glue. Then using a Sally Hansen nail art pen in black, I drew a stiletto heel on fingers 1 & 5. Using a dotting tool and ELFs Red Hot, I drew hearts. Using a purple Sally Hansen nail art pen, I drew dots on the toes of the shoes to make a little pouf!

On the 2nd and 3rd fingers, I made dots with Essie's Play Date. Then using a black nail striper, I made random lines around the dots to create a cheetah print. I finished it all with a top coat of Seche Vite.

What do YOU adore?

Stiletto Nails with Bows and Bling

I really wanted to try stiletto nails, so I decided today was the day to give it a shot. I did a google search to find a cute design, because, obviously, thats whats going to make the nail!! I found this design from lafemmeclassy.blogspot.com. I didn't have the plastic bows (I ordered some a couple of weeks ago, but they are shipping from HONG KONG!! so who knows when they'll be here lol) so I just decided to paint them on. I used active oval fake nails from Kiss, glued them on, and filed them to be a bit more almond shaped. Then I used fiji from Essie (two coats) on all nails but #4. On #4 I used blanc from Essie. I drew the bow with fiji and traced it with a black nail art pen from Sally Hansen. I added silver rhinestones around the bows. I finished with a top coat from Seche Vite. I really like how they turned out! Let's see if they stay on for longer than a week (I have terrible luck with fake nails!) :)

Christmas Plaid

These are some plaid Christmas-y nails I did last year. I used a Mash nail stamping plate #39 for the plaid and #28 for the bow. The red is ELFs nail polish in Smokin Hot. I'm not sure what the green was; I do, however, know it was crappy because I had to stamp white first to get it to show up! Any QUALITY green will do for this design ;)
