I started by placing Zoya's Odette and Cho on a makeup sponge, one on each half. I dabbed the sponge on each nail. When dry I did a second and third coat. I added a top coat of Seche Vite. With nail glue, I added a purple bow to the base of the ring fingers, and I added a diamond on the pointers from Hex Nail Jewelry.

I saw these on Instagram by user @natashadangelo. Hers were slightly different but hers were where I got my inspiration.

Fishbones, Suns, and Squares
It's been awhile since I've posted! I've been working on a nail art collab with a group on Instagram and have been busy with some other things (being sick being one of them 😫) so I haven't done much! Anyway, I really like this mani; I think it looks really bold and classic.
I used Zoya's Raven on nails 1, 3, & 4, and Zoya's PixieDust in Solange on 2 & 5. Then I glued a fishbone charm and a sun charm from Hex Nail Jewelry to nails 1 & 4 using nail glue. I applied gold square charms to nail 3--I got these at Claire's. I'm so glad I found them there--the only other place I've seen them is on Amazon and they ship clear from freakin China and I really didn't want to have to wait 3 months for them to get here.
I did NOT use a topcoat on this; Zoya recommends not using one for the PixieDust so I was just lazy and didn't do it on any of them! Ha!

Peachy Bitch
I saw these cute nails by Carli Bybel a couple of months ago and I'm just not getting around to recreating them! You can find her on Instagram @carlibel or on her blog - www.thefashionbybel.com. She also has a YouTube channel that is fantastic!
I started with a base of China Glaze's Peachy Keen. Then using a white acrylic paint and a thin nail art brush, I traced around the corners. I applied a top coat of Seche Vite. Using super glue, I applied the "Bitch" charm by Hex Nail Jewelry. All done!

Anchors Away!
I saw these nails in a book by Catherine Rodgers called DIY Nail Art: East Step-By-Step Instructions for 75 Creative Nail Art Designs. I did it a little different than in the book--I used an anchor charm from Hex Nail Jewelry on the ring finger rather than painting one.
I started with a base of Michelle by Julep; it's hard to tell by the picture but it is a navy blue. Then, using a white nail striper from Shany Cosmetics, I painted a diagonal line down the nail; I then painted horizontal lines in the bottom diagonal. Then using a thin nail art brush and Zoya's Austine, I painted over the diagonal line. I added a top coat of Seche Vite. On the ring finger, I added a dot of super glue to the unstriped diagonal; I placed the anchor charm in that, then sealed the charm with a bit more super glue.
That's it! Quick and easy and cute!

Eff You!
I got the idea for this mani from The Nailasaurus. I've mentioned her before, but in case you haven't seen my previous posts, you must go see her nails! They are all amazing! She's at thenailasaurus.com.
Also, the charms I used are from hexnailjewelry.com - they've got lots of fun and unique charms!
On to the mani deets! On the thumb and pinky, I started with a base of Zoya's Purity. When dry, I applied a strip of striping tape horizontally. On the bottom portion, I used Zoya's Dove, and on the top portion I used Zoya's Mira. **Be sure to remove striping tape before the nails are dry!! Otherwise they will stretch and get yucky!!**
On the ring fingers, I did a base coat of Zoya's Dove. When dry I applied striping tape in an off-centered cross shape, then painted over that with Zoya's Jancyn.
On the pointer fingers, I used three coats of Essie's On A Silver Platter.
On the middle fingers, I used Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics polish in Pool Boy. When the polish was dry, I applied a dot of nail glue and applied the F*ck You charm and the Middle Finger charm to the centers of the nails.
